Backup Questions

Where are backups stored?

Off-site, on separate storage from your hosting account, so a hosting outage, suspension, or attack cannot also take out the backup copy.

How far back can you restore?

Within the agreed retention window, we can restore to any available daily backup point. The exact window is confirmed during onboarding based on your plan.

My host already backs up my site — why do I need this too?

Host-side backups are useful, but they usually live on the same infrastructure as your site, are rarely restore-tested, and are not something you control if the host account itself is the problem. An independent, tested, off-site backup removes that single point of failure.

How fast is a restore?
