Ecommerce Maintenance
A store breaks in ways a brochure site never does — a payment gateway quietly stops authorizing cards, a shipping plugin conflict hides a country at checkout, or a sale event brings traffic a theme was never tuned for. We keep WooCommerce and Shopify stores running and selling.
- WooCommerce and Shopify both supported
- Checkout tested, not just assumed working
- Sale-event prep scheduled ahead of the date

What We Handle on a Store
Product Catalog Updates
New products, pricing changes, descriptions, images, and variants kept accurate and live.
Pricing & Inventory Sync
Catching mismatches between what is in stock and what the storefront shows, before a customer hits an out-of-stock checkout error.
Payment Gateway Health Checks
Verifying Stripe, PayPal, and other connected gateways are actually authorizing test and live transactions.
Checkout Flow Testing
Walking the full cart-to-confirmation path after any theme, plugin, or app update — not just assuming it still works.
Abandoned-Cart & Shipping Plugin Conflicts
Diagnosing when a shipping rule, tax plugin, or cart-recovery app silently breaks another part of checkout.
Seasonal Sale Prep
Load-checking key pages, verifying discount codes and scheduled price changes, ahead of a planned sale date.
WooCommerce and Shopify
WooCommerce
Core, plugin, and theme updates handled the same way as any WordPress site — see WordPress Maintenance — plus WooCommerce-specific attention to extension conflicts, payment gateway plugins, and checkout customizations.
Shopify
Theme and app updates, app-conflict troubleshooting, checkout and cart customizations within Shopify's platform limits, and catalog or inventory work through the Shopify admin.
How Sale-Event Prep Works
Schedule Ahead
Tell us the sale date with enough lead time — the closer to launch, the less room there is to fix anything found.
Check the Path
We test the checkout flow, discount codes, and scheduled pricing changes before traffic arrives.
Confirm Gateway Health
Payment gateways are verified as authorizing correctly, not just "connected."
Stand By
For higher-traffic launches, we can be available during the sale window to respond fast if something breaks.
Ecommerce Maintenance Questions
Do you handle both WooCommerce and Shopify?
Yes, both are fully supported. Tell us your platform when you submit a task and it gets scoped accordingly.
Can you help during a big sale event?
Yes — this is exactly what sale-event prep is for. The key is scheduling ahead of time so checks and any fixes happen before traffic arrives, not during the sale itself.
What if a payment gateway itself is down?
If Stripe, PayPal, or another provider is experiencing an outage on their end, that is outside what any store maintenance can fix. We help diagnose whether the issue is the gateway or your store, and communicate clearly which it is, but we cannot resolve a third-party provider's own outage.
Can you add a new payment method or shipping option?
Yes, that is scoped as a task — see Small Feature Requests for how new additions like that get handled.
