Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
These terms govern use of website maintenance and support services from Website Maintenance Agency ("we", "us"), whether purchased as a monthly plan, a prepaid hour pack, or paid hourly.
Scope of Service
Services covered include the tasks described on our services pages: website updates, security and malware cleanup, backups, speed optimization, bug fixes, small feature requests, ecommerce maintenance, hosting and domain management, audits, and emergency support. New website builds, ongoing paid advertising management, and legal or compliance consulting are outside scope unless separately agreed in writing.
Pricing and Billing
Pay-as-you-go work is billed at the published hourly rate in 15-minute increments. Monthly plans bill a fixed monthly fee for a bundled number of hours; unused hours roll over for up to one additional month. Prepaid hour packs are valid for 60 days from purchase. Current rates are published on our pricing page and may change with notice for future billing periods.
Task Scoping
Work does not begin until a task has been scoped and, where it exceeds available plan hours or credits, quoted and approved. We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete information or delayed access to a website or hosting account.
Cancellation
Monthly plans may be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Prepaid hour packs are non-refundable once purchased but remain usable until their expiry date.
Site Access
Where a task requires access to a website, hosting account, or third-party service, that access must be granted willingly by an authorized person for that site. We will not use access beyond the scoped task.
Limitation of Liability
We take reasonable care with every task, including working from backups where practical, but we are not liable for pre-existing site issues, data loss caused by third-party software or hosting providers, or indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any task is limited to the amount paid for that task.
No Guarantee Against Future Incidents
Security and malware cleanup work removes identified threats and closes the entry point found during the engagement; it does not guarantee a site will never be compromised again, particularly if other software on the site is left unmaintained.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
